1) If you were in Anthony’s shoes, would you still want to marry her when he discovers that he will now be marrying a ready-made family?
2) Is the reader supposed to believe that Mary met a 10-year-old boy 2 days before the action happened and she knows him? That she would fight to be his guardian and she puts this boy ahead of her fiancé?
3) Now a days, is it believable that a grown woman does not decide to take guardianship of a child without even speaking to her fiancé about it, simply because he is out of town and she can't get him on the phone (and who can't reach their fiancé by phone for days anyway?)!
4) Who brings a child home without a discussion beforehand?
5) Who flies across country for a job interview without a discussion?
6) What would you do if you were Mary, if someone who was on your side, decides they can't give you support?
