Are women of color represented strongly in this book? I'm deciding whether or not to purchase a copy. Many WOC have been fighting for this for decades on the south side of Chicago. I would hope the author would include their stories and voices, especially since much of the gun violence in our country happens daily in marginalized communities.

There is an effort now to increase diversity without "taking over" efforts lead by WOC already working in their communities.
