She says that the guy in the photo with Helene is someone she fabrica…moreI just read the book and had to go back to the beginning to reread this passage. She says that the guy in the photo with Helene is someone she fabricated to be their father when talking about him, but then goes on to say she's writing the journal to tell them about their real father.(less)
