I've read all the Lady Hardcastle novels. Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar series that I can get into? My job is stressful and I like the tone and ease of these books. And if I can get it for $2.99 or less on Kindle that would be a nice bonus.

Murder in an English Village by Jessica Ellicott very similar, two women from different arenas of society but are friends and come to live together in and end up solving mysteries. I read the first one and enjoyed it.

Death Below Stairs by Jennifer Ashley (not a romance like many of her other books, it's a mystery series)

Murdery at Archly Manor by Sara Rosett (great series in the 1920s in Britain)
