So much of it is about the interior lives of these women and while…moreI'm not sure I'd consider this nonfiction, although that seems to be the consensus! So much of it is about the interior lives of these women and while the author clearly had access to some primary sources, there are way too few citations to convince me that she's not making up most of the emotional bits. And the emotional bits are enough of the book that I think historical fiction might be the better categorization.(less)
