In Annapurna they had to literally find the mountain, since no one had ever walked over there before. So the entire first half of the book is them looking and exploring and is honestly very skippable. In Annapurna you can read the intro, then flip ahead to when they begin the final assault on the mountain and not miss much. But similar to Into Thin Air, once the shit hits the fan I could not put this book down!(less)
