Is this Christian Fiction genre? I’m a member of a mainstream church, but I feel as if this genre has a specific agenda that usually bores me.

The main Christian character in the novel - a mother of two and school teacher named Janine - is sensitively drawn in my view. Janine is also a poet, and she struggles with how to understand her artistic impulse in relation to her familial responsibilities.(less)
