Why? put the unpopular 13 doctor in this book it was clumsy and nearly ruined it for me, the book would have been fine without this pc rubbish.

Ryan Hawe I think -- though I cannot be sure -- that much as with Sylvester McCoy's public welcoming of Ncuti Gatwa to the "fraternity of Scottish Doctors" (whi…moreI think -- though I cannot be sure -- that much as with Sylvester McCoy's public welcoming of Ncuti Gatwa to the "fraternity of Scottish Doctors" (which includes Capadi and Tennant), Tom Baker (who back in 1974 was the "controversial" choice to play the errant Time Lord, and who was for long years afterward very grateful to co-stars Ian Marter and Elizabeth Sladen for making him feel welcome in the lead role) decided to declare that the legacy of the character would, in his opinion, be well cared for by Jodie Whittaker. While sadly the scripts didn't really give her a chance to make good on that until the end, I can appreciate the sentiment, and even see a bit of Baker's Doctor peeking out in some of the alternate media of Thirteen (such as comics).(less)
