Are the murders graphically depicted? I have a book group that does not like to read details on murder, but don't mind mystery or crime fiction so long as it isn't explicit. This looked like a fun and cozy read from the reviews I've glanced over.

I would like to get this book for my mum but it is not translated and published in our country; what english reading level would you say it is, from a non-english person point of view?

Katherine Maybe 6th grade level. Some of humor is not straight-forward and may require a bit of sophistication.
