If you have no background in computer sci…moreNone, although some material on basic discrete mathematics definitely makes learning this material smoother. If you have no background in computer science most people would generally learn a high level programming language and take some kind of introductory course on low level programming or computer architecture before studying theory although this is not required at all and you could definitely start out with a book on theory like this one.
