Am I mistaken that Brynn's ex, Keith, was doing their taxes while wearing a Kevlar vest when he attacked her... again???? I'm confused. Did I miss something? Overall, I liked the story, especially the twists. But this just didn't make sense to me.

So, I assume Brynne arranged for Hart to be killed by a professional killer,and that Michelle somehow assisted in this, but I don’t see how. Can anyone explain?
