My 11 year old daughter (this account is set up for her) started squealing her head off she is so excited to find out that this is on the way! If you have an ARC she would be THRILLED to read it! She then moved on to tears because she has to wait until September. LOL this is why I don't let her on good reads. She would love to know what inspired you to write this series?

I was mostly inspired by stories I heard as a kid and the lack of those stories being elevated in fiction. I also have spent time at some of the pyramid sites which was incredible. Plus Maya mythology is so complex and amazing! I don't have ARC's but I believe the book will be up for grabs on Net Galley soon :)(less)
