The author's are not familiar with the genre of writing a typical whodunnit novel. So it is very novel, new take on this genre. The reveal is slow; how each character and their motivation caused the whole thing but not your typical whodunnit. The hero is hero from page one and villain is villain but it is more and more and more lucid by the end. Lydia is obsessed with her husband and can see nothing wrong in him. But also doesn't trust him. She always goes for attacking women, even if they are victim of husband's lust. the protagonist-jess, has huge guilt and by end of novel she gets good therapy and comes out a winner. Thomas is a-hole but he is still a victim of his ex-wife's manipulation. (less)

But the fact that you have bleeped out the word "sex" makes me think this might not be the book for you.(less)
