I felt the tension o…moreI loved the Dry, but the Force of Nature was ok. But this one was easily my favorite of the three and my favorite read this year. I felt the tension of each of the characters wondering what happened, pulled me along and each time I read it, I couldn't wait until I found some more time to continue it! I lived in Australia for a year and I could really relate to reading about the outback, that made it all the more fun for me!(less)

Cell phones don’t work in the Outback as there aren’t any cell towers. I don’t know why his radio didn’t work. (less)

Arrgghhh... I've missed the hidden reference to Aaron Falk from "The Dry" in "The Lost Man" - can anyone help me?
Kyosti I think its in chapter 12 (page 125 in my book) where Harry talks about a man at the funeral,

"One was a local bloke from Kiewarra. Friendly enough but on leave, He was a bit... damaged. There was another guy who said he used to live around there but was based in Melbourne now."

I think this is the referent to the cop in 'The Dry' (Ricco?) and Aaron was the 'tall guy' in 'Melbourne now'.

I could be wrong - only halfway through currently - but that is what I penciled into the margin when I read it.(less)
