Does anyone know if this novel, or her upcoming novel will be released in kindle format in the United States? I purchased The Keeper of Lost things on kindle, and loved it. I'm eager to read more by this author, but prefer ebooks.

Did any of the reviewers who did not like "A Beginner's Guide to Drowning" like her first book, "Keeper of Lost Things"?

Kiara Yes, personally, The Keeper of Lost Things is one of my favorites books, but I thought that The Wisdom of Sally Red Shoes was an average book.

I recently finished Queenie Malone's Paradise Hotel where, as you know, one of the storylines also includes a young father who's little girl runs ahead carrying her red balloon as is killed in traffic at Brighton Beach. Is this an actual incident that happened? Why did you choose to refer to it in two of your stories?
