Am I the only one who felt sick reading Apt Pupil and had to give up on it?
Ashlie Kendrick I was repulsed by Apt Pupil, but felt like I had to finish it. It was horrible (too real?) and I couldn’t recommend it.

It's not appropriate for junior high kids, and just barely for high school kids. King writes for adults, not kids.(less)

What do people think the significance of the club is in the last story? There was the horror of the woman being given birth, but when they left after it was told and he was going to ask about the other rooms something stopped him and it felt significant, can anyone shed light on what the club actually was?

This is my first S.K. book. I am in the middle of the 3rd story and I really don't understand why this had to be a collection. Why would these 4 amazing stories was published as a collection? they have little in common and perhaps would be best published separetely... it's not like they are too short or anything, the shortest one is the first one and it is 135 pages long, which is not unheared of for a standalone book
