Is the Saga series short stories? I bought the first book and saw there were only 7 chapters. Don't really want to start a short story books at 2.99 each.

I truly hope that no matter how you choose to enjoy the books, that they give you a fast-paced and sexy reading experience. Just to let you know, all 18 stories follow the same couple, Reece and Emmalina, through their "first meet", through 3.5 years of their relationship, to an epic final scene with the bad guys. So, it's not independent short stories, or rather episodic-style writing that develops the same romantic relationship. I do have a tendency to "write long," so even my novellas are a nice chunk of reading, with chapters that are a bit longer in length than usual romances. I only break chapter when I break character Point of View, and since the characters have a tendency to tell me EVERYTHING that's going on in their heads, the chapters are longer--and I promise they are filled with a lot of action, adventure, and plot twists based on my own love of superhero canon.
