In the book, Celestine mentions that she is reading a book called "The Family": "So I stayed in my room writing to my mother and Monsieur Jean and reading The Family. It's a nice book and well-written. Yet it's a funny thing, though I like listening to dirty stories, I don't enjoy reading them. The only books I enjoy are those that make me cry." What book is this? Who wrote it? Google searches got me nothing.
