I don't have a hard copy of this book yet, so if anyone can help, I am looking for the titles of the other books mentioned in this one so I can make my students a "family tree" of sorts. Can anyone list those for me?

What was the city they were going into at the end? Was a place they mentioned or just somewhere they had been during their traveling??

I thought it's maybe Yakima, Washington where they left Vegas because Yakima's got a river running through it. But they haven't been there years ago. I thought maybe it's San Diego because she mentioned a taco truck, and her dad had a D.E.A.D. dream for a specific taco truck in San Diego and there's also a river running through it. But San Diego is not a small town. So I think maybe it's just a new beginning in a town they liked, and it's not important which town it is.(less)
