I enjoyed it until I got to the epilogue. Its homophobic, heterosexual ending made me sick. Cultural annihilation. It's disgusting that KL Molope portrays LGBT people as good as heterosexuals when they act just like heterosexuals. Why? Isn't it just sucking up to the heterosexual view that people are only worthy when they have children? Gay Pride is good and dead and being buried by Molope.

Both Kabelo and Sediba just want to live out their love for each other, to stop hiding and lying and living in anxiety -- which is especially the case for Kabelo. They both give up at various times throughout the story, and by the end it is Sediba who chooses the easy way out. He will marry a woman. This is devastating for both of them. And yet, and yet, there is hope and promise in that gesture. They have a child and Kabelo is included in the family circle. I loved it.(less)
