My wife's 5th G Grandfather was Dr. Ebenezer Man and he was Brigade Surgeon under Gen. Washington at White Plains and at the battle of Monmouth. And was at Yorktown at the surrender of Cornwallis. Family history says he was also for a short time aides-de-camp to Washington. I've found him listed as one of Washington's aides-de-camp in Wikipedia and another account that he was listed as a "Possible". Any help?

For example, Aaron Burr is often listed as an aide-de-camp, but he didn't stay after this trial period (but chose to work as aide-de-camp to Putnam instead). Hope this helps!(less)
