I read this one week after the Barr memo and Trump's proclamation that he is completely exonerated (untrue).

The book clarified some of the things I had not followed closely, such as Nunes actions that helped Republicans dismiss this and close their own investigation.

Putin convinced Trump that the "Deep State" was conducting the investigation. I was not aware that Putin was putting such things into Trump's head (thought they were his own fantasies).

I have been following the news regularly, but reading this book helped bring items I'd forgotten back together.(less)
