How many of you read a faithful translation? (Drugulin, 1948) It was written by a Catholic priest, but translated into English several times by Protestants. The theology was changed to match Protestant convictions. A lot of the reviews below speak of it as being "preachy" --- this was not the case in the original German. The author was more natural; subtle. "Sermons" were added by the translators for Sunday school.
