Can someone recommend a UF series at least half as good as Kate Daniels? Or something with a heroine as amazing and badass as Kate? Please please

Kelly Detample Kelley Armstrong is a comparable writer. The bitten series is pretty good.

Personally, I think this is the weakest entry in the series, and I really didn't love it until book 3, but it's one of my favorite series now, so it was definitely worth it. (less)
