This Kindle edition has sentences and complete paragraphs missing, does anyone know why? I inadvertently got a book version of it, published by Felony & Mayhem, and as I've switched between the 2, it was in reviewing what I'd read that I discovered the missing parts. Any ideas out there?

when Campion decides to look up the old crook, Thomas Knapp, the listing in the phone directory says "Knapp, Thos, Conf. Tob. Wireless Parts"...can anyone tell me what the Conf Tob abbreviation means? he is supposedly married and "respectable" now. is it confidential something?
