Is there a plot hole? The romantic novelist that Berowne had visited with said that she rowed across the river to complain about the noise that evening because her phone wasn't working, then she took Berowne back with her to get him some dry clothes and he asked if he could use her telephone so she left him some peace to do so. Have I misunderstood or was that the same occasion?
