Something of the same nature but not nearly as severe occurs later. Many people might gloss over it and not have a problem, but I'm always disturbed by mind bending or control type things. This takes place in a real world setting and sounds totally plausible.(less)

If you buy it from Amazon, they allow transfer to your Kindle, or Kindle app on your phone or computer. Amazon (and my library) also allows one to read ebooks online.

NOTE: I have no association with Amazon other than I occasionally buy things from them, and my local library is a normal library with online features that even small towns have nowadays.(less)
