anybody out there identify with this demographic? Travel all around the US, and familiar with some of the organizations mentioned in the book. Been to Quartzsite but not during the busy season. Really don't like boondocking in the desert, prefer tress and water nearby. Belong to several RV clubs and chapters. (less)

I have been watching a few van-conversion videos on YouTube. There are several videos by people living in their cars and vans. These are NOT what we would think of when we think of homeless people. One video said that some BLM sites are charging more or closing down because of so many user. Some cities are outlawing sleeping in a car or van. Where do people go?

It would also depend, too, on if you just wanted those kicking in vans or if you'd also count those in cars, buses, RV's, tents, etc. (less)
