Congratulations on your book launch! How did it go? What was your inspiration for this type story?

The book launch was a great success! A lot of people turned out and bought books for themselves and for xmas presents.
As for my inspiration, it all stemmed from an innocuous comment from my brother-in-law about the Irish Mafia in Montreal. As soon as he said it, something clicked in my brain. I started doing some research, and the story evolved from there.
I'm sure I'm not unique in that way. Obviously, a seed has to be planted in some manner. It just needs some TLC in order to grow.
