It's a YA book with (romance?), cults, religion, abuse etc.
It isn't as intense or sad like After The Fire and definitely isn't as long.
It's more like a watered down version of it and would probably be a bit predictable but nonetheless, it was a good book that kept me intrigued all the way through.(less)

I remember Moonbean whispering to Honey "Remember what the first S stands for" when the first saw each other after the fire. Did we ever get an explanation for that? I couldn't find anything in the Proclamations or else i just missed it....
