by that statement alone the fact that its said twice gives the idea its a very important statement and i get the vibe that the way its not saying "beach" its almost like its being privately specific, some private place the writer knows about where possibly.
by reading the paragraph prior i think corpses are stored in this location, anyone who during this time did anything against the "merciless race" who were essentially warlords in Africa
but like i said they are subjective i could be completely off base(less)
