She wants to know Him, but she is confused with how to do so. Her mothers family is Christian and her father's family is Jewish.(less)

I read this about 25+ years ago, and I'm wondering how dated it is now. Would my daughter find it very old-fashioned? I know menstrual hygiene products have come a long way since it was written, but what about the rest of the story?

I remember being so confused by mentions of belts when I read it around the same time as you! But now that those references are gone, I miss them. Haha! As for the rest of the book, I think it is absolutely relevant and relatable to today’s girls. I don’t think your daughter would find it old fashioned at all. I think it’s noticeable that it’s from a different time, but many of the experiences and feelings are the same. (less)

I don't recommend this book for under Grade 6, It's seems like there is quite a bit romance in it. My daughter was horrified by the things she read in the book. It's not really a religious book. I actually wish my daughter never read it. My daughter is 12 years old and in an all girls school.why don't put age group in the book?
