What is TP? I don't think its explained and I'm not sure what it means

How much of this book was based on the FF11 mechanic system? The unlockable jobs, TP mechanics, kill chains, airship rides, getting wrecked by a bee at level one (brings back memories), and other nuances, I just can't help but feel like the author played a lot of FF11.
