Thomas is a social butterfly navigating the world that way while Aue fails at understanding bureaucracy and is limited thusly. It's more of a point/counterpoint than an alter ego. (less)

This looks like a pretty good book and strangely, I enjoy reading about the Holocaust, Auschwitz, and World War II. As I'm sure everyone knows, this book is pretty long. I definitely want to read it. It this book a must read? Let me know what everyone thinks...

I'd say it's a must read for anyone that enjoys historical fiction set during WWII, however you must enjoy dark humor and a touch of surrealism.(less)
