I read this book and loved it. Can someone tell me what some other good LGBT middle-grade novels there are? Trying not to be too picky but realistic fiction would be nice.

My favorite was S…moreI just binge-read several realistic fiction LGBT middle grade novels. I teach 5th grade and purchased all of these for my classroom! My favorite was Sunny St. James. Ashley Herring Blake also wrote Ivy Aberdeen’s Letter to the World, another LGBT themed book. The others I read were Drum Roll, Please by Lisa Bigelow, Hurricane Child by Kheryn Callender, and One True Way, by Shannon Hitchcock. I recommend all of them! One True Way was probably my least favorite, but it’s still a solid read.(less)
