1) Why wasn't Georg as understanding toward Anna about her being Jewish?
2) What happens to Margot in this book?
3) What did Anna do with the pistol she had?
4) She was pretending not to be a Jew throughout much of the story, but shouldn't that have only highlighted her heritage?
5) Did any of the women feel guilty for sleeping with the enemy?
6) Did any of the women not feel guilty because they were providing for their children and families?
7) Did some of the women love the German men they slept with?
8) If you were a Jew in Nazi Poland, and had to keep your identity and marriage a secret, would you be so stupid as to carry your marriage certificate in your pocket while at your job working for the Nazis?
9) Can a man keep his moral values in an immoral period?
10) Would it really have been that easy to get in touch with the Resistance, especially when they had gone 'dark'?
11) Krysia might have been Catholic, but she had been married to a Jew, would the Germans have been that accepting of her?
