Why would anyone giver this less than 5 stars? It's masterful, with exploration of so many themes - bureaucracy, corruption, the Seven Deadly Sins, homosexuality, and of course Northern Italian food.

Fay The pacing is sluggish. It makes the story feel tedious.

A very enjoyable read and one of my favorite series but not what I would describe as a "cozy." Do you agree?

Marty Diffley I agree, not cozy but I like the family scenes and a picture of the corruption in the system. I enjoy Guido. He usually eats very well
