Just started reading "Richochet Joe". However, I've never before gotten an e-book with pages missing. How can this be fixed?

I just finished reading it on my…moreIt has been at least a year since you asked this question so you have either figured it out or just deleted the book. I just finished reading it on my Kindle but almost deleted it because I experienced a similar problem. Pages were missing and previous pages were repeated. Thought I was having ricochet senior moment, but it continued to happen every few pages. I finally powered down the Kindle completely and rebooted it and the file was readable. I rarely shut down the Kindle, but all electronic devices benefit from a reboot now and then.
