She then trave…moreBecause Ruth, our main character, is on a journey, there really isn't one main location. She was raised in Kurov and Ostroviec, Poland. She then travels with a group to Kielce, then to Lodz, Poland. Later they cross the border into Czechoslovakia, and then into Austria. The group crosses the border to Italy where they stay for a time at a children's camp in Northern Italy. Just after 3 weeks at the children's camp, Ruth and her group board a boat leaving Europe and headed to Eretz Israel, Palestine.(less)
