She was going to have power and conflict…moreI thought it meant that Elen had sort of stepped into a new kind of life, and Khat couldn't follow her there. She was going to have power and conflict and politics to play and he didn't see a place for himself. Also, maybe that he wouldn't be able to fully trust her anymore because she had become so powerful and it made their relationship unbalanced.(less)
