Lucy Maud Montgomery's work has passed into public domain, and it's now legal for anyone to use her work as a basis for their own. As a fan of Montgomery's work, I'm glad to read more about the Cuthbert family and learn how these two people turned out the way they did. After all, "there is so much going on in Avonlea"!(less)
