It also deals with the issues women faced and the extremely difficult choices they had to make.

In many ways, concepts from this work apply today related to women, choices they had to make, what is expected from social classes and the social caste system people tend to find themselves in when a small percentage of people control the wealth, forcing others to live in a way thought "unbearable." Imagery in this book is excellent when attempting to convey certain concepts and perspectives normally not thought about. (less)
