An English speaking publisher has to pick it up and find it interesting enough to want to buy the translation rights. However, the author is not famous (yet) and the book was only published 2 years ago. This might sound like a long time ago but I used to work in a publishing house in Germany as a rights agent at one point and I can tell you that, unfortunately, 2 years is not a long time for the whole procedure at all. But the book is amazing and it might be translated at some point in the future! :) (less)

Eine Frage zu denen die das Buch schon gelesen haben: Wird die Protagonistin netter? Ich habe angefangen das Buch zu lesen, konnte mich aber leider gar nicht mit Animant anfreunden. Sie kam mir sehr unsympatisch und überheblich vor. Wird sie mit der Zeite freundlicher oder bleibt sie die gleiche Person bis zum Ende? Ich überlege nämlich ob es sich für mich lohnt weiterzulesen.
