the_bookish_took I'm not into the horror genre but I would say there elements there that are typically found in horror (ghostly appearances, one accompanied by a bug c…moreI'm not into the horror genre but I would say there elements there that are typically found in horror (ghostly appearances, one accompanied by a bug crawling out of ghost's ear and many mentions of blood, ghostly strains of music, one of the MC has had problems with hallucinations before) but it's not too scary, just a little spookiness to unsettle you.
The romance is not explicit, limited to kissing/hugs. There is an attempted (unsuccessful) rape that is uncomfortable, though it really doesn't get far.(less)
