It probably wouldn't be my first choice for a second grade classroom, but I don't personally think 2nd graders are too young to think about any of the topics addressed in the story. It would definitely need to be supported with conversations about the text, but the idea that children are too young to talk about discrimination is v. odd to me. (less)
