Not sure I understand the end. Does Total Eclipse refer to the fact that the main character? .... whoops I can't give it away .... go read the book for yourself. It was a good way to spend some sleepless time early (very early) Tuesday morning after the big event.

The main character is at the opposite end of that "excitement" spectrum. He's more like Walter Mitty in the sense that most of his feelings are kept tucked away ... he's more of a watcher, though in his own mind he thinks of himself as bigger than that.
