Drugs and alcohol are certainly not revered (the main character avoids both with good reasons). There are moral dilemmas worked out in a positive way. I found it less disturbing than most news articles I read.(less)

I'm on Chapter 8 and it is nothing but wholesome so far I'm not getting any indication that what is about to be the "unwholesome"-ness" of the plot isn't unnecessarily disturbing. I'm enjoying the simplicity so far. Anyone agree with me who may be reading this right now?
Dorothy I agree. I am 85% done and it is a wholesome story. I am enjoying the read.
