Does anyone else find it odd that the 56 year old victim Linda Havens was pregnant?
Asterope Because of her age? It's not common, but does occur, both naturally and due to IVF situations.

That link also goes on to list a number of cases with ages of pregnancies of women over 50.

So...while it's unusual, I wouldn't say impossible.
Whether someone sees it as odd depends, I guess. With medical advances and such, I'm not really surprised to hear of someone over 50 being pregnant. Whether they should be doing it (as it does have a higher risk to mother and baby), especially in an IVF situation, is another conversation all together. (less)
