Has anyone read this? Saw his interview on The Daily Show. Interesting, but I’m having a hard time getting beyond his past as an abuser. Any thoughts?

You can blame it on the character, but the narrator observing Bob is just as bad. There's a lot of hatred for women in general and any praise is objectifying and degrading. I can't tell if it's because that's actually how Penn sees women (and Jews, and POC, and small dogs) or if he just can't communicate any better. But if you're worried about it, there's a lot to worry about.(less)
