Is it important to read the first three Memory Man books before this one? I borrowed this from the library without realizing that it was a series.

Denise Important? Probably not but more enjoyable to "observe" the development of the characters and their crime solving with the FBI. That development is a …moreImportant? Did anyone else think the quality of the writing isn't good in this book? I'm wondering if this isn't written by someone else...I haven't read the other memory man books, but other books by this this author seemed much more intelligently written. This one seems clumsy.
